The wasteWOIMA® power plant has been originally designed according to the European EN standards. Also, the emission control follows the European Union directive EU 2010/75/EC. However, the design can be easily migrated to American ASME and the emission control to comply with the American EPA regulations, or local ones, should the customer prefer that. And should there be a need the deliver the plant design based on e.g. Japanese (JIS) or Australian (AS/NZS) standards, that can also be easily accommodated.
EN standards are typically used in Europe and in the former colonies of European countries. Also, the British standards (BS), in most part, is based on the EN standards. The ASME standard is popular in the Americas and parts of South East Asia. However, the borders between the standard areas are not that strict and many countries accept materials, equipment and design based on either standard.
