Due to the faster project development and delivery phases of the wasteWOIMA® WtE plant, it reaches positive net cashflow earlier that traditional stick-built plants. This early positive cashflow can significantly affect the project’s profitability and thus its feasibility.
The small-to-medium-scale wasteWOIMA® WtE plant can be easily located in, or adjacent to, an industrial park to power their operations directly. A one-boiler-island wasteWOIMA20 plant generates roughly 4.3 MWe (net), i.e. ~35,000 MWh annually. This can be multiplied with the delivery of additional WOIMAline boiler islands. Direct electricity sales completely by-pass the existing network-operator-owned transmission and distribution networks and instead deliver the electricity to the off-taker via a dedicated power line.
