Earthworks is one part of the mandatory civil works complementing the wasteWOIMA^® WtE power plant delivery. It forms the solid base on which the plant is eventually erected. Even on good quality ground the plant offers savings which are only amplified the worse the ground is.

The wasteWOIMA20 plant weighs less than 1,000 tons and its weight is quite evenly distributed, which leads to

• Low point load
• Less stress on foundation and underlaying ground
• Less excavation
• Less earthmoving
• Less backfill material
• No piling work
• Faster civil works

The contact pressure for the non-cohesive soil at the serviceability limit state is only 0.25 MPa.

The simplified earthworks create savings through

• Less construction work
• Less material usage
