Waste fuels are a quite heterogenous fuel group typically consisting of municipal, industrial and construction/demolition wastes. Their calorific value and moisture content can vary significantly complicating the incineration process and sometimes preventing full combustion.
The wasteWOIMA® WtE plant is equipped with a highly efficient state-of-the-art grate system capable of combusting waste fuels with high quality variance with minimal use of support fuels, such as diesel, LFO, LNG, CNG and similar.
Reducing the use of fossil support fuels will also significantly reduce the plant’s carbon footprint. And since WtE will enter the European Emission Trading System (EU ETS) by 2030, here lies another significant savings and/or goodwill item.
