We are delighted to present the upgraded modular wasteWOIMA20 power plant. The wasteWOIMA20 is suitable solution for the small-scale waste-to-energy market that is gaining traction across Europe. The wasteWOIMA20 offers the largest possible waste incineration and power generation capacity below the EU Emission Trading System limit. This exempts the one WOIMAline plant from the “carbon tax” increasing its profitability and project feasibility.
The wasteWOIMA20 plant using MSW, relying on a collection area of ~150,000 inhabitants, generates steam, electricity and thermal energy. The plant, designed for a 25- year lifespan in the harshest of conditions, is based on a WOIMAline (boiler island) ideology. The plant consists of one to four WOIMAlines each with 20 MW fuel power and capable of producing
🟠 5.0 MW (gross) or 4.3 MW (net) of electricity or
🟠 2.8 MWe (gross) and 13 MW of thermal power or
🟠 24 t/h of steam (400oC @ 40 bar(g))
The wasteWOIMA20 is capable of handling a wide range of non-toxic solid waste fuels, such as municipal solid waste, refined waste fuels, construction and demolition waste and different biomasses.
